Sales of Nabeghlavi Mineral Water Have Increased Six Times
Sales of the leading Georgian mineral water Nabeghlavi have increased steeply in Latvia this summer. Over the last month, the demand for Nabeghlavi at Maxima Latvija stores rose more than six times.
“We are truly happy to have strengthened our positions in Latvian market. The availability of Nabeghlavi to customers all over Latvia has improved greatly since spring, and the unusually hot summer has naturally prompted people to consume more water every day. Nabeghlavi is a perfect match for hot weather as its natural properties and ingredients make the water suitable for consumption on a daily basis. All of this has resulted in a remarkable increase in Nabeghlavi’s popularity in Latvia. Compared to last year, sales of Nabeghlavi at Maxima stores have increased several times, and the increase was particularly fast in July, when demand for the mineral water increased more than six times compared to July 2017,” comments Gia Gogoladze, Director of Healthy Water.
“Georgian mineral water has always been in great demand at Maxima stores. Georgia’s most popular bottled mineral water Nabeghlavi has been found in Maxima customers’ shopping carts increasingly often since this past April, both in Riga and in the regions. Demand of the mineral water is high on daily bases as well as during various events, for instance, summer festivals. During the Summer Sound festival in Liepāja, sales of Nabeghlavi were 43% higher than usual, and even 63% higher during the Positivus festival,” says Edvīns Lakstīgala, Director of Purchasing department at Maxima Latvija.
